Find Ancestors

I am now looking at the parents of my relative William Hector Smith and his mother Rebecca. Can anyone find me information prior to 1891 where I have a William Smith and his wife Rebecca and their children John aged 8 (later called William? age is right!) and Ellen aged 6.

10 years before, 1881, I can't find them. Can anyone find me a marriage entry for Rebecca and William or evidence for William before marriage?

William Hector (1883-1970?) was born and lived in Wimbledon, but I think both his parents William (1858-1900ish?) and Rebecca (1857-??) were born in Northamptonshire. The town of Easton seems to come up for Rebecca.

This is the 1891 census image I am referring to.
I can only guess that John is William's middle or christian name and once his father died he reverted to William. It wouldn't be the first time in my family.........!

And yet..........1901 makes it seem possible (perhaps the 1891 enumerator had been on the bottle!)

The address is the same......58 Kingston Road

So if William is not John in 1891, but all the other information is correct, and I cannot find another example of a William and Rebecca having children, where else can I look to find him?
