I am researching the history of Emma Jobling 1867.

She was my g grandmother.

I know her mother was Sarah Merca and her father John Jobling.

thankyou all the helpful people on this thread. I have not been on GR long and I am able to find my grandmothers family in these posts.I guess this means I am related to the origional Ethal and Harry!!

My great grandmother is Emma Jobling whose sister Rebecca Martha is Ethal and Harry's mother!!!

I think the enumerator misread his own notes when writing up the census sheets..........I think the birthplace for George s/be LELLEY

This is the marrriage of his Aunt & Uncle.............one has to assume that Emma was Rebecca's sister.
