I am doing it for myself as it is on my father's side of the family but I have only small pieces of information. You can find out information on Australia Red Cross Society Wounded and Missing Enquiry Bureau Files. I found some good information pages on Phillip Wilkins on the War Record.

I have anther one Phillip George Wilkins Born 23-3-1918 Victoria Australia Died France (A.I.F) Military cemetery at Otterstein. #264 Private Phillip George Wilkins 59th Battalion. His brother Walter James Wilkins Born 21-8-1895 Victoria Australia died ( Missing in Action ? ) Can you find out any think more about the two brothers.

Then Family Name

Refine this search
Enter Phillip George
Search

then click on digital - you will be able to see his Service Record, if you wish you can download individual pages

I have had a quick look for Walter but cannot find any record, but if you follow the instructions as before and enter Walters name, you might be able to find him.

Due to privacy laws in Victoria, births are only available to 1920, marriages to 1942 and deaths to 1985. Laws are different in each Australian State.

I don't know if Ruth Wilkins was alive or not. I did't know about Calvin and Austin Wilkins was in WW2. You have gave me some answers thanks. I have a Dianne Rosalee Sporton born 25-4-1954 Married on 23-5-1981 Graham Wiliam Loutit born 28-5-1947. Thay had a son Garry Philip Sporton born 28-2-1956. Can you find out if thay (Garry Married ) or have children.

Sadly death of Ruth, found on the ryersonindex.net which is death, funeral & sometimes probate information published in the Daily Papers.
