Hi Catherine,no what i did was looked on the war greaves because of the date and many service men died at war around that date.i was asking if it was possible that it was the same person. thanks Janette. |

A tree on Ancestry has Alfred's death 1 March 1919, Fredericton, New Brunswick and Alice 30 Dec. 1972, Swinton, Yorkshire. Jenny died 26 june 2002, Steeton, Yorkshire. |

Well, looks like we solved that one. We do have a little discrepancy though. On the 1891 census brother Thomas is only 2 years older than Alfred but on the 1911 census in Canada Thomas is 6 years older. |

You couldn't find their marriage because they were evidently married in Canada. She emigrated as Alice Turton in 1910. Reason for emigrating was "going to be married" |

Hi Catherine sorry about that just checking my tree again Alice Turton married Alfred Ford he was born Letwell south yorkshire and Alice born Rorherham.they had a daughter called Jenny Ford born 1912 |
