Help please ...looking into the family of a Beatrice Mary Barrow.Birth registered Basford in June 1893.
Would love to know who her parents were, siblings. Know she had at least 1 sister maybe called Hilda but not sure.
The 2 sisters ran a sweet shop in Daybrook for many years.
Would like to know where the family was 1881 and subsequent censuses.

On my CD's of Christenings and marriages is:
Christenings:
Beatrice Mary Barrow and Hilda Lavinia daughters of Tom Marshall and Jane Elizabeth Barrow of Daybrook a Butcher at Daybrook Church on 4 June 1893.

Also George William M Barrow son of Tom Mashall and Jane Elizabeth at Daybrook on 14 Feb 1892.

Marriage
Tom Marshall Barrow and Jane Elizabeth Hulse on 18 April 1883 at Arnold Church.

I can check this marriage for you at Nottingham Archives and see who their fathers were.

Jane died March Qtr 1895

There was a child Percy son of Tom and Frances Marshall of Daybrook a Butcher at Daybrook Church on 13 Sept 1899.

Cannot find a marriage for Tom and Frances.

Looks like Jane died after the birth of the twins and George though I'm confused where George was on the 1901 census. Any ideas ? He's back in the picture in 1911.
Wonder if she died giving birth to Tom junior in 1895 ?

Guess the father then got with Frances so surprised there is no marriage for them.

Could you please check the marriage at the archives as offered ? That would also be very useful. Thanks for offering.

Strange they married in 1883 but first child seems to be George in 1892 - hence no children recorded in the 1891 details you have sent me ????

Are you certain the children are hers?
Also, possible they had children living elsewhere, with relatives maybe.

Well Wendy (above) has shown Tom and Jane to be parents of Bea,Hilda and George. But George b.1892 seems a long time after their marriage.
Is there a way we can find out if they had older children ie. pre 1892?
