Find Ancestors

Trying to find marriage for a John Pavey to Harriet ? , possibly in Rotherfield, Sussex. first child born abt. 1835 in Rotherfield.
I have tried Jen in Yorkshire who used to have Sussex Marriages but the message hasn't been opened so I presume she is off here now so can anyone help please? Very many thanks to all you good people.

Mind you, I am struggling to find birth entries for them - with these distinctive names they should be relatively easy. I wonder if they were registered?

Regarding Philliman, I have found a death for a Philemon T. Pavey in 1927 in Kent, age stated as 85. By my reckoning that makes him born 1842 and we have him down as 1843 soooooooooo maybe that's him. He died in Kent.

It is Iden by the looks of things!

There are a few trees on Ancestry with Iden in them, but again no surname for Harriett unfortunately.

My grateful thanks to all of you with this one. The person who has Zelinda in their tree knows no more than I do unfortunately. They are such uncommon names you would think you could find them but it's not to be.
I might take a trip to Rotherfield and see if I can find anything more.

Boringly Iden seems a place name in Sussex , but like David Beckams child Brooklyn, perhaps thats where it all started !
