Hi all you miracle workers out there, I'm having difficulty finding an exact birth date for my great aunt Norah, I'm certain she was born in 1910. because I traced her marriage cert recently, she was married to "leonard kidd" on 5 August 1932, she was 22 and he was quite a bit older at 41, and was a Theatre Violinist, They must have lived together before they wed, because on the marriage cert the address is the same for both, but she lived with the rest of her siblings in south shields, I have all their info D,O,B's etc but hers is eluding me, any help will be greatly appreciated, Thank You ;-) |

They may not have lived together. People often put the same address so as to avoid putting banns in both parishes. The presumption was if you put a suitcase of clothes at the spouses address then this established the 6 week residence requirement . It didnt legally but was probably never challenged |

I would think the birth that Choccy found relates to the 1911 census. |

No, I'm pretty sure that Norah was the oldest we spent time with all our great aunts and uncle |

One of the birth certs of the children born post 1911 would confirm their parents and whether the 1909 birth cert of Norah is the correct one. |
