I can't yet see the family I posted above who travelled to Australia in August 1841 on the 1841 cencus here over ???

Can anyone else see them - I have to go out for a while?

The 1841 census was taken on 6 June so that family may have been on their way by then.

You are right Rootgatherer - I have had a little 'google' about the Bounty Scheme and apparently the journey at that time could take up to 17 weeks and so I would think that they would have been travelling by the time the 1841 census was taken.

I will have to go and see if I can find them by any other means.........

Thanks so much for all the information.
Jane's parents are Robert & Ann.
Dea, the Doodsons arrival on the "Elizabeth" looks to be the right family and the 'possible' marriage 22/8/1825 also looks to be Jane's parents.
Joseph Land's (Jane's husband) family also came out on the "Elizabeth" in 1844.
