Find Ancestors

I hope she hasn't assumed she was called Dunn at time fo death. I only know that she remarried because my Mum told me. I also got the inpression she died after my Mum was born in 1938.

Matilda was born in Liverpool so I don't think she is Ormerod. She wouldn't be single. Is this the Matilda Helen has Mary?

Helen Tighe is a relative of mine!! I wonder if she has the details.
She has moved away so I haven't got contact details. That's interesting. The information must be somewhere.

Yes the lady with tree on Ancestry is Tighe,the same lady as on here.

I found that in ancestry, but you can also search free bmd by age at death. Free bmd tends to refuse if too many answers, so you have to restrict it a lot. But 1925 to 1925 age 65 Bury Matilda also gives:
Deaths Dec 1925
Ormerod Matilda 65 Bury 8c 631

But this is a wild goose chase if that tree is wrong.

Mary, Is the name on Ancestry-- Matilda Herron( maiden name)? If so it may be the one but I'm not on Ancestry.

Patchem, I tried looking up marriages in the area and there were some near to Bury but I thought they were not the right ages. There wouldn't be a death for Matilda Dunn as this was her 1st married name. I don't know her 2nd married name. So I haven't really got much to go on.

If born in 1860 and died in 1925, would be about 65.
No Matilda Dunn/Dunne death for that age showing.

There is no marriage for a Matilda Dunn/Dunne in the Bury area after 1906.

Put Matilda Herron in search born 1859 there is a lady with her who has a tree on Ancestry it says Matilda died 1925,but no mention of in what name or if she remarried.

Maybe if you made contact she may help you.

My Great great gran was Maitlda Herron and she married John Dunn in 1878. He died in 1906 and she remarried but I don't know who to.
She was living at 83 Paradise St Bury Lancashire in 1906. She later went to live in Summerseat near Bury and I think lived there as a house keeper who she later married.
So please could someone look at the 1911 census and let me know who was living at 83 Paradise St Bury then. I presume she had moved from there by then. She was born c1860.
