Member Since: March 2010 Posts: 107 Send Message	I am trying to find birth certificate of my G.G.Grandfather Richard Buckby born c1816 & G.G.Grandmother Mary Bullivant,I have found their marriage certificate in 1840 but have come to a stand still on both Richard & Mary's Birth & would appreciate some help regards Colleen

If you've ordered a copy of their marriage certificate you'll hopefully have their father's details to enable further searches in parish records, Family Search, etc. Where were they from?

	He also shows his birth place as Nottingham on the 1851 Census If you already knew this, it would have helped our searches if you had told us the birth places! sylvia

Member Since: March 2010 Posts: 107 Send Message	Fastyr mie Sylvia my Grandfather Ernest Willi Buckby was born in Rutland 1890 died 1979 his parents James Buckby & Bithynia Frisby were born in Preston in 1851& 1852 James father Richard 1817 married Mary Bullivant 1840 But the family bible is very old & almost impossible to read so I was unable to see where Richard 1784 was born we were a close family but unfortunately there are only 3 of us left my elder brother in Canada who isn't interested in the past my cousin who is the same age as me & although he is interested he lives in England so he is to far away & is very busy all the older members of our family have now gone thankyou for your help Colleen Buckby Perrin
