Find Ancestors

I have a relative who 'disappeared' in Australia. She was born 3 Oct 1829 in Marylebone and had an illegitimate child, Charles in 1851.She went to Australia sometime between 1851 and 1855 ( can't find when) and we have letters from her after she married an Alexander Rae in 1858, mentioning bushfires and young babies. We know 2 of these babies, Charles and Olive died young, one of them from gastroentiritis ( I sent for the cert) but we cannot find her death date or what became of her and/or her husband anywhere. The children died in Maitland New South Wales and one at least was buried in the Presbyterian cemetery. I have tried all I can think of-anyone out there who could help I would be so very grateful.

Charles and Olive both died in 1857 at Maitland.

Dunbar P Rae, of Charleville QLD, died on 15 March 1907 aged 52 at Brisbane General Hospital.

Excuse me for questioning but if Charles was born in 1860 how did he die in 1857, 3yrs before Birth????

Have found more info about Dunbar and his children but this info gives Dunbar's mother as Olive TALBOT.... not Amor

Ingrid - there were actually 2 Charles Raes. The first was born in Camberwell London 1851 ( I have him on the census) and was really Charles Amor ( but presumably for 'respectability' she called him Charles Rae. He died in Australia in 1857 at Maitland. She had another Charles , named for the first Charles as they did then- in 1860. Daughter Olive also died in 1857 of gastro. I think she either remarried someone called Talbot after Alexander Rae or she just changed her name for some reason- no longer wished to be an Amor?? Perhaps she took another man's name? She had a bit of a habit of this- referred to herself as Amer sometimes. At first I thought Olive Dunbar was another person but now I am pretty sure it is my Olive. Confusing, I know.
