Hi

Yesterday i posted a query about a baptism of my grandfather which was found very quickly. I was hoping someone could help me with this.

Thomas Alfred Longhurst is my grandfather he was born in 1894 in Fawkham in Kent. His father was Thomas and his Mother was Emma.
I have found the family on the 1901 census but cannot find a marriage for the couple anywhere!
I have ordered the birth certificate of my grandfather which will show Emma's maiden name but i was interested in why i can't find a marriage.

PS. Thomas dies in 1901 and i have found Emma and the children (2 after Thomas's death) living in West Malling on the 1911 census.
