I have all the 13 children dates of birth marriages who when and where the first was Mary 26/oct/1851 Stockton bap 16/nov/1851
I have the marriage cert of Micheal & Elizabeth but that's it nothing on hi or her sibblings parents ect...

Carol....Where did you find the family in England...what Census have you first located them...is the spelling the same as you have listed...
I cannot trace any other than Patrick Joseph in the Army...(Lincoln 1881) he died 1882...
There is a James and an Ellen born Manchester and only for 1 listed Stockton (a Death) and she is aged 7 Catherine....

The Irish Famine was raging between the years 1845/52, so you would presume this was their reason for leaving their home.

Strokestown has a famine museum, have you thought of contacting the church where they were married for further records regarding the bride/groom.

Please can you help
I have a Micheal Nertney 1827? married to an Elizabeth Fallon 1831
married 6 march 1848 in Strokestown They came over to England and had 13 children the first in 1851 Stockton but not sure when they came over I am trying to find more info on their family in Ireland and their ancestors
