In February this year I asked for help finding John J WELLINGS , my GG Grandfather in the 1871 Census, I was new at things and hadn't thought of looking under different spelling and was very grateful for the help I got then. I hope it's ok to start another topic for him. |

The two for 1851 and 1861 look good , PricklyHolly. On his son's marriage cert he was down as being a 'gentleman's servant' so it fits. |

In the 1861 he is the "Butler" for Bartholomew G Browne..........who's occupation looks like............Merch S America Trade. |
