She doesnt give any occupation on the 1901 or 1911 census But her hubby must have been around as Stella was born in c 1899 !!

married 34 years 10 children 7 still living

i think i found him in 1881 on family search listed as AB seaman on a vessel called ASIA but i cant find him now :0~/

im going to go look back because i also think i saw a possible birth for him in lancashire

may be worth getting one of the childrens birth certs to see if the father is named and his occupation Its strange he is absent on every census unless he was at sea

Just trying to establish when we KNOW he was last alive and not assuming.........

I found a widow on my tree in 1881 with a baby of 3 months. BUT I already knew her husband had died in 1876, as I had a copy of his death certificate.

1881 Elizabeth is listed as 'fishermans wife' so I assume he is at sea...

i cant get the page to load but in family search i have a william crawley born hull in 1854? listed as been married on board vessel ASIA

another relative trying to search also so said on walters marriage certificate he is listed as deceased in 1930 yet she has found he died 3 years later

you sometimes feel like they dont want to be found :o/

also can i add the census i have in 1891 where they are all listed with initials shows that james crawley who is married to sare elizabeth crawley both wifes are living together so this has to be the right one - thanks guys xx
