I don't think it's the 1879 birth as I have the cert. Her mother is given as Caroline but there is no father. |

The fact that a father is named on a marriage certificate is no guarantee that the facts stated are accurate. Many an illegitimate child "Invented" a father on their marriage to avoid embarrassment. |
