PS -Just in case I wasnt clear - Its Thomas of 1853/1855 (not my great grand father) that I am looking for birth record or census records showing his parents - possibly in Easthampstead??

So there is definitely a variation in birth year on these records then. Just to keep us on our toes!

The original 1911 census says thomas 56 = 1855. born Berks a gardener.
Cecelia 1862 Kelling Norwich

My great grandfather Thomas Richardson was born in 22/7/1886 to Thomas and Cecilia in Lambeth area.

His father also Thomas Richardson was born in Easthampstead Berks per the 1891 & 1911 census records. Thomas & Cecilia were living in Brixton (Lambeth) in both these census. The 1891 census record shows his age as 38 and the 1911 census shows it as 56 (I havent seen original entry though, I wonder if it said that or 58?)

I looked in the 1881 census and found a Thomas Richardson from Easthampstead as a visitor in Easthampstead aged 30 giving a different birth year.

I wonder if anyone could help, I am trying to find a census record that shows his parents and/or a birth reference for him. I am struggling as Thomas Richardson is a common name and I have 1850 to 1855 as possible birth years for him
