Any help in tracking down relatives of Robert Dixon would be appreciated. Robert was born in or around Preston Lancs in 1855. He moved to South Wales and married Mary Llewellyn. Robert and Mary had at least one child, Violet Lillian b.1885 |

Hi all. Thanks for all your help with this. Can anyone help with info before Robert moved to South Wales? He seems to be a bit elusive... |

Yes, can't wait to find out more. As you say, an elusive chap. Maybe he had a girl in every station? |

Hi all. The marriage cert has just arrived. Robert was 27 at the time of his marriage on 17 November 1884, so dob would be 1857. His father was John Dixon, a commercial traveller. Mary Sage, his wife, was a widow - I had previously thought her to be Llewellyn, but on the marriage cert her father is named as Thomas Davies. Does this help at all? |
