I am trying to find the mother of Rebecca Blackburn Chamberlain, her father was Thomas but I cannot find a Baptism record for Rebecca. I am getting easily confused with all these dates as I mean to include this request in my earlier request for info as to where I can find BMD prior to 1837. I have tried on here (I am a platinum member), Family Search and Free Reg Search but cannot find anything to confirm her mother's name. |

Jan, She married John Gray on 8th September 1842 at Holbeach. I have found their marriage and on some of the census forms. I am also trying to deciper the name of one of their children - it looks like Siliteo on one but on another letitia |

But of coruse, it means that this is the earliest census that we have access to, and she is not living at home. |

In the 1861 census Rebecca's place of birth is given as Boston so maybe Riston in 1851 is a mistranscription? Faldingworth is a long way from Boston/Holbeach but there is a family of Thomas Chamberlin and Ann in New Sleaford 1812 - 1824 but no Rebecca and no marriage for the parents! |
