Find Ancestors

Hi my great grandmother was Alice May Daniels nee Davis. I have searched for bout ten plus years before she adopted my nan to find her marriage as i want to find out her hubands name (he died before i was born and was always refered to as Dad by my nan, i never thought to ask) anyway i was wondering if anyone who had a few minutes might help? Thanks in advance. Im going to keep checking but have found that the people on here are such whizz kids that what could take me months to find they seem to find in minutes. Guess you just have to know where to look :)

She lived in Sevenoaks, Kent. I think for her whole life as i know her sister was a servant at a big house nearby. She was born in 1910.

Flick i think you are a genius! I asked my mum if she knew my great grandads name (it my fathers side but we no longer have contact) and she said she thought it was Ron. Apparently then she was married before, i did not know that. Thanks so much, well it definately explains the lack of marriages i found for her doesnt it. I should know by now not to be suprised when i find things out lol.
