I'm wondering if anyone can help me in my search for my husbands Great Grandfathers parents and I feel that parish registars may be my only hope. The information I have has been obtained from 1881 census and marriage certificate.

Ernest Joseph BRADLEY born c1847 St John's Wood Middx (obtained from 1881 census)

Married Sophia Hailey at St Lukes Church, Marylebone on 03/06/1871
At time of their marriage Ernest lived at 17 Queen St, Marylebone. Father listed as Frederick Marshall and he was a Stockbroker.

I have no idea who Ernest's mother was or if Frederick Marshall was his step father or natural father. Ernest died before 1991 census.

Would be grateful for any help as I have hit a brick wall.

Many thanks,
Janet
