Thanks i thought that maybe it was just my family that had the dates all mixed up(would explain me alot) :)

The DOB year of Michael Byrnes (29) in 1911 census would be 1882

This exactly matches My Grandfathers DOB year and the correct spelling of BYRNES and also we had been told from another family member that "Galway" was mentioned when they were very young to do with family.

Other than that i have nothing to prove it is the correct family.

Any help would be appreciated but i cannot find any solid evidence of a link. He came over from Ireland in between 1911-1922
