Thank you Kathleen, the second family seems most likely and I couldn't find the father because I wasn't naming him Jno! |

There is a second Samuel Jackson in Huddersfield but he is the son of ? Daniel Jackson. Both Daniel Jackson and Jno Jackson live within a mile of each other-.jl |

Thank you Janet. It seems I did not have all the correct info but I now have Samuel Jackson in Dewsbury (Where he was born) with Sarah Chadwick, possibly his grandmother. Does the 1841 specify this relationship please? |

The 1841 census does not give relationships. |

Is this the Samuel Jackson you mean in Dewsbury:- |

Thank you Kath. I have been told that Samuel had a sister Mary but she didn't show up in IGI for John and Hannah. If they are together in the same building as Sarah, are there any 'grown-ups' with them? |

Thanks Janet, you are on the same marriages as I have. I am doing the research for a possible descendant of Hannah Chadwick, where my ancestor is Hannah's sister Martha. Unfortunately Samuel and Mary are not with what is hoped to be their family in the 1841 census so proving the link to their 'brother' Joshua c1835 is not easy. |

So what you are saying is that there is a Martha Chadwick, your relative, and you want to know if she is related to Joshua Jackson who is the son of John and Hannah Jackson. |

Thank you Janet for the 1851 census. This is the first time that Hannah has all her children together so with the 1841 including Hannah's mother Sarah with the first 2 children all the links are in place. I definitely have a new cousin! |
