My name is Natasha and I put a notice on here last night in regards to some help finding my great grandmother Louisa Rackett born 17December 1898. For some reason my notice has gone and all the info I recieved has gone so I was hoping someone could help we with my search again.
All I know is that she was married to a James Hiscock and she died 5 April 1985 I have no info on James Hiscock Ive looked in the census for them both in 1901 and have found nothing please help me im getting rather frustrated now

I think infact Edward Rackett was Edwin born 1877 to Edwin Rackett born 1850 Newport Isle of White and mary matilda 1849 isle of White.

Often the name Edward and Edwin were one in the same.

You say you could only find a birth record for Louisa for march 1898 and that she cant have been born in December. I have found her birth record on genesreunited and her death record confirms her dob as December where did you get your info from. I would like to check it out for other info what I cant find on genes.

Registered in the March quarter of 1898 ...she may have been born December 1897 and registered in the new year but can't have been born Dec 1898.

Her death says she was born Dec 1897 so the mar 1898 birth is correct

Thanx for all your help now I have something to go on. I think ive managed to go back abit further on James Hiscock if ive got the right people I think his great grandad george was born in 1806 just going to double check my info just to make sure and Il let you all know the outcome Thanx again everyone you have helped me alot Im new to this and think im getting the hang of it now.
