This might have some meaning to a photo I found. On the back it said
'Alice David's son Oswald. Died aged 25 years'

I wonder if this Alice is somehow connected

The only Oswald David's I can see died as children or a lot older than 25

Extremely confused right now.

I have checked the the following censuses after the 1891 you have provided Jax.

It lists Alice Rees as their niece in 1891 and 1901. In 1911 Alice's surname has changed to David and listed as their daughter, and Oswald is there but listed as nephew!!

Don't understand how she went from Alice Rees - niece to Alice David - daughter.

Perhaps they sort of adopted her as she had lived with them for so long?
