Can you give more information such as marriage details and have you found her in the 1901 census? This would really help. |

You say that Louisa did not die until 1950. Where did she die and was she still Louisa Atkinson? |

Is it possible that Louisa is also in prison. It could be the reason why all of the younger children are in care. I can't find her in prison or anywhere else but it is a thought. She could also have just moved in with another man and changed her name to his. What else do you know about her? Every little thing can be of help. What details are given on her death certificate? |

I know that when my great grandmother was born in 1908 they were living at 16 Aberdeen Place, Brewery road, Islington. Her maiden name was Mills, could she have gone back to this for a while? She died 22nd Jan 1950 aged 80 as is buried at Islington cemetary. That is all I know :) |

The prison records for the years in question for Pentonville seem to be held at the National Archives so I think that should be your next port of call. |
