Find Ancestors

Sarah, all of us regulars here really do try to help birth parents/children find each other. Most of us have managed to put some people in touch through searches here. We appreciate you are anxious and how frustrating the situation must be with the message being unread.

Remember that even though that person isn't receiving notices of messages (apparently) she may well return here from time to time and would then see that there is a message.

Meanwhile, I wonder whether you've tried searching for, say, yourself or her father in trees here? Several people have you (excuse me for snooping, but you have messages here and there on the internet with your name). Do you know all of them? I'm just wondering whether there's any possibility that Lauren would have put a tree here under her current name, and have included you in it (or maybe her father or any other family members she might know of).

It's reasonable to think she is looking for you. Just to ask the obvious -- you have gone the "official" route for birth parents and children to be put in touch with each other?

Please do, using the year of birth known to you. Don't enter a place of birth. I don't think you'll be able to miss the result you're looking for.

To send a private message, you click on the name of the "tree owner" beside the search result.

If you go to your Messages and click on "Sent messages", you can tell whether someone has read the message you sent. If the envelope beside it is still purple, it hasn't been opened. This usually means that the person has changed email addresses since creating the account here at GenesReunited and unfortunately there is not much can be done then.

You really should consider deleting this thread (the Delete link in the first post), since the tree search should get the result you want.

That wasn't what I asked, and to be frank, I'd already worked that out.......it was pretty obvious

This is what I was referring to - you clearly haven't read GR's guidelines........

"You must have permission to include any living individual's details and photos in your family tree."

As you don't know where she is, you can't possibly have obtained her permission.............

You should not post full birth details of a living person on this public, insecure, site.

use the Search Trees tab top of this page

if you know which school she attended then Friends Reunited have a schools section

Sarah, you might have more success if you search trees on this site to see if anyone has her in their tree. You could then contact the tree owner.

Also, try the usual social network sites like Facebook, Friends Reunited, Myspace, etc.

I am trying to locate Lauren Ware born at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton East Sussex, United Kingdom. Can any one help
