That marriage looks hopeful as this looks like Annie with her parents in 1901 and the age is correct.

hi rootgatherer thanks for that it confirms what ihave found so now just need to find out who susan/suanna mother was then i can try to go back from there once again thanks you for your time jacky
Maybe this one?? But you would need either Thomas's marriage certificate or a birth certificate for one of the children to confirm.
Name: Mary Walsh Registration District: Granard Event Type: MARRIAGES Registration Quarter and Year: Apr - Jun 1909 Estimated Birth Year: Age (at Death): Mother's Maiden Name: Film Number: 101261 Volume Number: 3 Page Number: 143 Digital Folder Number: 4199363 Image Number: 00520

That Mary seems to be a possible as her age in 1901 matches the 1911 entry with Thomas.

flipping nora thats a mouthful HA HA but think i will order it along with the other marriage cert as i like to play it safe befor i add things thanks jacky
It is a mouthful! But better than your choice of expression - I give thanks every day that my parents didn't follow the Scottish naming pattern or as the second daughter I would have been named for my maternal grandmother - Norah. After starting this family history lark 30 years ago, I found her name was actually Hanora! My grandmother was rather a cold person so the name doesn't conjure up a picture of happiness whereas the Marys, Margarets and Josephs in the family have all been lovely people!
hi rootgatherer hanora must also be in the irish genes as my gt gt grandmother had a sister named that who is very elusive & gave up finding anything on her months ago she was last know to be alive when she registered her father,s death in feb 1902 in ireland & then she totally dissapears but thats ireland for ya all very seacrative some of them hope i did,t offend you with my expression if i did so i ,m sorry was not ment to be jacky
Absolutely no offence taken! My Hanora was born in Tipperary but apart for her birth certificate she is listed as Norah - census records, her marriage and the marriages of all her children she is Norah. Also the duaghter and granddaughter named for her are Norah.
