thanks for your help but I feel a bit useless,I am trying to help my husband find some relitives but we seem to come up against a brick wall.he lost contact with his brother and sister in the late 60,searly 70,s don,t now if any aunt,s or uncle,s are still living. I still don't quite understand whether you are in contact with your brother and sister.

And I don't understand what family you are looking for -- since you know your mum and dad are deceased, and your mum does not seem to have had any other children after you dad died.

You seemed to be looking for children of your dad's siblings -- and I explained how to request an electoral roll lookup for a child of sister Edna (after I gave you info about the child's birth and marriage, as I recall).

The way to find people is to look for them! If you give a clearer explanation of *who* you are looking for, it would help.

Your father's death certificate might also -- death certificates list cause of death -- if this is the correct record:
