Nelson is my maternal side of the family. A common christian name with my Nelson's is 'Evan'. My tree has five of them all in different generations and there may be more that I haven't discovered.

I've just arrived back from a visit to Rufford in Lancashire and in the local graveyard there, is a stone, simply inscribed "Evan Nelson, Four Breadths". Is there anyone that knows what this means? What is "four breadths"??
