I have a Horace Gordon Bishop born in 1898 in the district of Hackney. I have managed to find his service records for ww1 and it states his parents were James and Rosetta Bishop. However James may have been known as Alfred or vice versa. I am having great difficulty finding the family on either the 1901 census or the 1911. Please can anyone help find them, thank you. |

Thank you both for this info on the 1911, do you think it should be 23 years not 33? Also does it please state how many children were born to the marriage please? Rebecca. |

Wow. i cant thank you enough for this infomation, it is looking like it all connects together well. I am slightly confused about the 33 years of marriage as in the 1911 as Rosetta states she was born c.1866 and then changes for each census as i have been reading down the list. I shall try and find any matching births for her, once again thank you so much,Rebecca. |
