	Hi Peter I don't pay much attention to the different spellings. Most people couldn't read or write in those days so couldn't tell that their name had been mis-spelled. my Davisons are Davidsons on some censuses, my Eversons are Evasons. I had the same problem with place names. My grandma told me that her father was from Alvagate, Norfolk. I finally found out it was Halvergate.
