When you looked for a marriage, did you put in Flor* for spouse's name? |

I've tried marriages, but again there are thousands - It would cost a fortune to work through all the certificates. Only census I can find him in is 1881 when he is 5 years old. (He was my grandfather's brother). I'll give searching the trees a go - I would love to sort this one out! I was given this information by a very elderly aunt just before she died. |

Look in search trees to find out whether anyone on GR is researching the name. |

Are there any descendants of Thomas Smith, b.1876 in Stratford out there? His father was John, mother Eliza and brother Jack (John). Believe he had a wife, Florrie. The story goes that he was a barge horse worker on the Grand Union Canal in London, got drunk, fell in and was drowned. Nobody knows when, and as there are millions of Thomas Smith deaths I really need some help in tracking this one down. Thanks. |
