Well there is no death for him back in England. There are no marriages or deaths in New South Wales for a Thomas Emmerson Chandler. It is possible he went to another state in Australia or elsewhere. |

I think on balance you are likely to find him in Australia..because a large number of convicts received their Freedom Papers after having worked in the local community, and literally earned their freedom..they then simply went on with the same lifestyle as free men/women..having married and or built up a life for themselves and their families..........very few ex convicts..proportionately speaking, bothered to return to the UK. |

...the 'National Library of Australia' (Canberra) and the 'NSW State Library' have an 'Ask a Librarian' service (on-line) ...they will check their many records ... for Thomas Emmerson Chandler. (They are very helpful.) |
