Hi all you super slueths. You were all great a couple of days ago so I thought I would push my luck and try to follow the male line of Augustus Henry Neave born Islington, in 1852. He married Alice E. ???? and I think he may have died in 1900. Specifically I am trying to find out where he died, the surname of his wife and the names of his children if he had any. It is nearly 11pm here in Sydney, Australia so I will stay on line and see what happens. As I have stated previously it would be nice to track down some living Neave relatives in the Uk, so I can visit a live one instead of going to the cemetery as I have on my previous visits. |

Nope - no marriages for him at all, perhaps he didn't officially marry Alice or - what looks like a second wife - Edith. Will keep hunting in case his name is wildly mistranscribed! |

As he didn't appear to have any legitimate offspring, the only living relatives you MAY find would be through his brother..............IF he married etc |

thanks Alex I tried Augustus but his only son died before he was one year old. So the only brother left in the uk seems to be Stephen John born in 1842. The remaining brothers William Fredrick and Charles Alfred(my gg grandfather) both came to Australia. |

While you guys are investigating do you have any idea where I can find out where my ggg grandfather George James Neave born 1809 is buried, apart from contacting all the cemeteries around North Finchley where he died in 1887. |
