go to the WA site that I posted Above
there is a small click on dropdown to choose birth or death or marriage.

click marriage and wait a few seconds for the marriage page to load and then type in the surname SHAW

you will get lots
or type in each individual christian name one at a time

Not sure about your grandad's carers.
If you definately know of a family, is it possible to contact them and ask where he was previous to coming to them.
I am reluctant to post details of any living on this thread

yes it turn out my tree was right :)

i did find her death at collie cemetary whilst i was checking all these details
this site had that info www.ozburiels.com.au

SHAW, Sara Ann Jane. 12 Apr 1973. Aged 72 years. Anglican M.41

she was buried beside THOMAS

SHAW, Thomas. 2 May 1966. Aged 79 years. Anglican M.41

I will definately keep it up, for future ref.

re searching for their marriages ........yes...... 'google' 'Reverse Marriages' you will be able to see (WA) marriages to 1950's
