My grandmother's sister was called Edith Currall born around 1880 in the Battersea area of London. I think she was married twice and had a son. The last time I remember seeing her was in the late 1950s/early 60s and I think she lived near Lambeth Bridge. Any information would add to my mother's family. Sheila |

Hello Sheila, just to confirm we're looking at the right person can you confirm if this is her in 1891? |

Would assume, due to age of young Thomas, that John died 1909 -1911 but can't see a death |

I confirm that all the information on this Currall family is to do with my mother's family, I did, however get my first names mixed up as my sister's name is Edith and I believe she was named after this family member. The Great Aunt I remember seeing in the 1950s was Great Aunt Daisy, and at that time she went under the surname of Miller. I think there is a possiblity that she wasn't married to Mr Harry Miller although they had children. Daisy Currall had been married and had children by her first husband but I think the marriage broke up.Can anyone throw a light on this lady. Thank you all for your help. |

I only knew Great Aunt Daisy by her first name, so I'm not sure if she had a middle name. The family lived in the Battersea area although the eldest daughter Jane was born in Warwickshire, Sophia in Chatham, Rose in Battersea, Elen and Nary in Stratford and the other daughters in Battersea. I also know that the spelling of their surname seems to have been spelt Corril, Currall and Currell. |

One further plea for help I see Thomas Currall and family are on various Census but can find no trace of Thomas E or Ellen Currall on the 1901 Census would there be a reason for this? Thanks in advance. Sheila |
