What can I say, other than thank you so very much for all the info you have given me, I wasn't expecting so much - in fact nothing at all.

Daphne was my Aunt, one of my father's 5 sisters. So my 16 cousins have all now been found.

TROY - Jay Michael Downing, 62, of Troy, passed away at 9:28 p.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2008, at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, following a short illness.

He was born Jan. 5, 1946, in London, England, to the late Maynard and Daphne (Robinson) Downing.
(I've snipped a bit out of the initial post...I'm sure Michael has found his cousins now!!)

A tree on Ancestry shows them as having 4 children 3 boys and a girl, all showing as living except Jay Michael (1944-2008)

It says Jay Michael was married to a living Miller and had 2 sons. He then married a living Zeller.

Troy, Miami, Ohio, USA. 2 sons = Jay Michael and Rex both born in England. Married 1945 in N.London went to USA in 1950. Here they had 2 or 3 children (Boys?).

Have found passenger lists, marriages and births in England and data re their deaths in USA. Have tried FamilySearch, Ancestry and GR, but come up against the proverbial brick wall i.e. can find no data from 1950 onwards.

Anyone any ideas?
