Maybe he was originally some sort of travelling salesman in artifical manure - later elevated to manufacture and 'industrial chemist'.

Sarah's father is James Ary, brewer, on both marriages, so definitely the 'Traveller' is father to children of the 'industrial chemist' - artifical fertiliser maker.

Address was 2 St Paul's Rd for first batch baptism, I misread 2St [Paul's}for 25 on Ann Elmore's baptism . Mea culpa, so thanks for the correction.

Hello Flick,
Your comment made me look again and try another option. I knew she had married again and what the name of her second husband was. A second search led me back to finding that her maiden name which was Ary ( as shown on freebmd) but I had dismissed it believing that he maiden name was Nicholson.
Thanks for the prompting.

Hello All,
I'm looking for the marriage of a Thomas Cary and Sarah (Nicholson?) b1834 West Ham, London. If she was of full age then it would be about 1855.
Ancestry's "London, England, Births and Baptisms, 1813-1906 and London, England, Marriages and Banns, 1754-1921" appear to show the baptism dates for their children and some of the children's marriages. Unfortunately for me I do not have access to the full information on Ancestry so I would be very grateful if someone could kindly look them up on my behalf.
Many thanks
Paul
