well william smith i am almost ready to give up on you ... i ave searched for months and i must be missing something as i cant find you anywhere grrrrr

i cant find your date of birth and i cant find out any more than whats on your marriage cirtif ....so where do i go from here

i have tried looking under Gascony avenue as stated on the cirtif but the onl place i have found that was in the 1911 census with someone else living there in he summery books hampstead distric 6 grrrr

i don know how to find you there must be a way ....

ty martyn is like looking for a needle in haystack

all i know is my grandmother live in margate when i was small she died there too in the house i don know where the house was or how long she lived here for... i never knew my grandfather he was gone from family unit when my father ben evan smith was small his brothers name was william

so all i know is that gwen and william married in 1926 he was 31 she was 2o

his father william smith builder bricklayer

i have no one to ask
my father is dead and never mentioned his father

This is all, if buts or maybe. If his first wife remarried in Thanet in Kent are they both living in Kent. I have searched the marriage records and found the following.

I don't know if this is your grandad. From the marraige cert it would appear that he was born around 1895!

hi all i have struggled and struggled with this and sill no closer i have tried all sorts of searches was wondering if anyone could look up for me their address for the year 1926 1 gascony avenue hampstead and le me know who lived in he house like his mother father maybe fingers crossed hey
i believe the address was usually the hubby's family address or maybe not when on he marriage certificate

married 1926 13th oct

farthers name william smith

gwendoline hackman wife

i guess he was born in 1895 there abouts

married in hampstedheath but can't find him still no matches at all

If you buy the marriage cert............£9.25 from www.gro.gov.uk, you will find out his FULL name.......his age, and the name and occupation of his father.

You need as much factual info as possible with such a name..............

please i would be ver greatful to anyone one who would please look up my grandfather for me

his name is William j smith all i know is he married gwendoline gladys iris nee hackman in 1926 ref:1a 1451

i don't know what happened to him my father is dead and i have no one to ask i know that my grand mother remarried at some stage and became mccann

i would like his DOB and any other info i can have thanks

i live in france so would find it hard to visit
