One thing I know for sure is that anything is possible. I will keep those dates in mind.
What puzzles me is why the Page children are with them unless they were related in someway , I have followed the children, who are connected to me (no mention of Wm or Judith) and I have searched for any children Wm and Judith may have had to see if that would help but no luck.

OK back to it, thanks again for your input

May be a death for Judith to keep on the back burner, just in case???

If they were bargees they rpobably moved around a lot!

Interesting ................... there were 5 people died between April 20 and 26 ....... under one of them, a child age 10, is the notation that he died of small pox

Hi Sylvia

Thank you, I agree and have factored that into my search. Trouble is there are quite a few William Chapmans around that time, but, I was hoping that wife Judith might help single him out but she seems to have disappeared into thin air.

Thanks again

If you look at the image of the 1841 Census, there is actually a single line between Judith's name and Frederic Page

..... this indicates that the Page children were living in another part of the house as a separate household ....... so maybe they were just renting a room from the Chapmans?

If William and Judith were 45 in 1841 ............. one has to make allowance for the fact that ages were rounded down to the nearest 5 in most cases, in that census

so that means they could actually have been aged anywhere between 45 and 49 ................ or born between 1792 and 1796

Thanks Gael,
I'm pretty sure this won't be him but as I can't find him in 1851 I guess it's possible he could have moved around a bit.

Thanks again for your interest

In 1841 William 45,a bargeman lived at Kibes Lane, Ware with wife Judith 45. Both of the parish.
With them were Frederick, Richard and Elizabeth Page.
I just cannot find William or Judith after this so would really like some help please.
Neither have I been able to find a marriage for William and Judith therefore don't know her maiden name and I am wondering what the connection is, if any to the Page children whose parents were deceased by this time.
If anyone can help shed some light on these people I would appreciate it.

Thank You for your time

Pamela
