how to find parents name if I have a birth record

Unless you buy a copy of the birth cert. you will never be absolutely sure if you have the correct census, unless you know if he had any siblings, or have any other clues! |

I don't have his birth cert. I found a birth on freebmd for june 1872. I think I have found the info if someone would check to see if I am correct. I have found this on family search. |

His birth certificate will give you his parents names and his mother's maiden name. |
