Thanks Ozi I think the same as mother was living in Hornsey she was a Laundress as well this is Sarah Adams Rebeccas mother checked on 1881 lds census for premises near but of no joy, thanks for looking and replying Sheila |

Enos had to be registered as Girling because he was illegitimate. |

Thanks to both of you I did not check their marraige so thanks Flick I am sure this is the right one but why would it be Smith Girling? By putting Smith on the birth surely he acknowledged this, I cannot find Aeron in the 1861 census eitheir so if you two nice people can help me with this I would be grateful and thanks for all your help |

Hi I wonder if anybody can help me please I am looking for a Enos Smith born i Ipswich in 1856 I have found him in the 1871 census in Dorset and when he married in Middlesex. I cannot find his birth or death or him in the 1861 census could enos be short for something. His parents were Aeron(Aron) and Ann both born in Suffolk 1826/1827. Going out in 30 mins but will be back soon Sheila |
