Thank you all for your efforts to date. I am doing this research on behalf of a friend and he knew George Millard slightly and thought George was a devious type. I am beginning to think he lived out his earlier days under a different name and if that is the case i shall probably never find him. David.

I did note it Cass,it could be him,but of course there may be a death to go with it.

I can find nothing on any census to suit at all and def no birth refs under that name at any time.
Shame his exact date of birth is not known...

Well Elizabeth May Saggers was born 1906......which would draw into question the age at time of death.....does the marriage certificate state his age as this would also state his fathers name which you need in order to proceed David.
