Made up father?
Years knocked off his age as he was so much older than the bride?

I can find nothing on any census to suit at all and def no birth refs under that name at any time.
Shame his exact date of birth is not known...

To all who have replied to date

Thank you all for your efforts to date. I am doing this research on behalf of a friend and he knew George Millard slightly and thought George was a devious type. I am beginning to think he lived out his earlier days under a different name and if that is the case i shall probably never find him. David.
