Can you give us some idea of the area...where was your mother born and can you give us her name?

Hi All,
I am desperately trying to find any info on my Maternal Grandmother, listed on my Mother's Birth Cert. as 'Bessie BARCOE'.
Apart from a Death Cert. showing a female allegedly married to my Maternal Grandfather, Edward STILL, ( although I can not find any record of him marrying anyone in the time period), which shows that She died on 17 May 1923 that is all I can find. This person died shortly after giving birth to my mother so she can not throw any light on the subject since she never knew her and was brought up in an orphanage,(her Father being 'Too busy' to bring her up himself).
As I say, ANY INFO AT ALL would be greatly appreciated, not only by me but by my mother as well.
Many Thanks.
