Hello All

I have found two Richard Parkers baptised Fiskerton Lincolnshire 1773 or 1772 with parents either Richard and Mary (Pashley?) or William and Elizabeth (Featherby). One these Richards was the Richard with children baptised in both Fiskerton and North Carlton, including a William, Richard, Elizabeth and Mary. My connection is to either Richard son of Richard and Ann or Richard son of William and Elizabeth.

However, the names of the chidren here are not a reliable guide to Richard's parents' names (Richard and Mary or William and Elizabeth) because known grandchildren of Richard and Mary are William and Elizabeth. An even earlier William Parker who married an Elizabeth and then had children in Fiskerton may be related a generation back from Richard and thus be for whom the grandchildren named William and Elizabeth are named. This looks like parish films may be the source of the answers, as the parish records search sites are proving difficult, unless anyone here has better results, please?

Regards

Michael
