Hi Margaret
Some CO.DUBLIN TOMBSTONES photos & Transcriptions can be found here: Well worth looking, but there are thousands of them..so you need a bit of time to search through them!

Hi all,
I have just purchased the online burial record for my great grandmother from the Glasnevin Graveyard. There were others in that grave but sadly she ended up in the North Union Workhouse which is where she died and all the others were from workhouses in the area.
So the search for her husband goes on.
Thanks again for your help, family history sadly shows up the sad side of life
Regards
Margaret

If you copy and paste this http://www.irishgenealogy.ie/record_list.html it helps to see what is available there.

Also subscribing (free) to the rootsweb mailing list is worthwhile.

Mummy Bear
Many thanks for this helpful information , I did have a look online at Glasnevin but the name didn't show up so I will do as you suggested. The Emma Breasley in Glasnevin is my Great grandmother so you mentioned Thomas could be there too.
Really grateful for your time. Will keep you posted as to any success I might have
Regards
Margaret

I have found BREASLEY EMMA DUBLIN Glasnevin 1915 Burial 62 F
Buried in Glasnevin and the indication on the website is that she is not the only person in the plot It may be worth paying the sum (I think its €5) to see who else is in the plot

Margaret I have extensive links to Dublin and have found that the data on Family Search etc is not 100%. I have found that when I visited the Irish Life Centre, Lower Abbey Street, Dublin (Register for BMDs) I found most (not all) in the indexes. Remember that when you go they limit the number of copy certs to 5 a day to each person researching, you can order more and they will send them to you. If you can find other members of the family graves, say wife or children’s in a cemetery then there’s a good chance that he may also be at the same location. Mount Jerome, very large cemetery south of city, doesn’t to my knowledge, have an online facility but if you call them they may be able to help. Glasnevin, north of city, does have online search facility. I have found ancestors of mine in both cemeteries. I also found that the many deaths were announced in the newspapers, more so than in the England, so either the Irish Independent or the Irish Times; both have online facility for a few euros.
Hope these are of help

Thanks Thistledown,
For taking the time to enter this info, but I have this already but not his death record unfortunately. I feel a visit to Dublin may be the only way to resolve this, I am sure that he was buried in Dublin so I may need to do more detective work.
grateful thanks
Margaret

As I am not able to check Irish Census records pre 1901, I thought I might check out Burial Records for my Great Grandfather Thomas Albert Breasley born about 1850 in Dublin and died between 1879 and 1901. They lived in Annesley Avenue in Dublin. I have not been able to trace a birth or Christening on the Familysearch pilot or beta projects
I was hoping that someone could help me locate any records for his death. I have googled Cemetries in Dublin and his name hasn't shown up. Some of the lists have indicated that they are incomplete.
Is this a longshot or is it possible to find anything on him.
Any help or advice would be very welcome
Regards
Margaret
