A little different from 1852.

I was having trouble finding James and Hannah together.

I am particularly interested here as I have a strong connection to Abridge.

Its possible either was married before 1852, hence lack of marriage to each other !

according to a tree on ancestry he died 1893 in west ham.

LadyKira. Your conversation is most interesting but I would like to explain. James & Hannah's youngest Son, Samuel, was my Grandfather born 1860 and his birth cert. gives the mother's name as Hannah Page nee Wells
She died in 1861 after the census which mentions George Watson born in Scotland and boarding with the family. I never considered that there was a connection.

Perhaps Hannah was married to Samuel Watson before James.(my great grandfather). She died in 1861 a year after her youngest son was born. His birth cert. names her as Hannah Page nee Wells.
Quite a mystery.
