I take it this is your grandparent's marriage:-

Name: Edward William Brooker
Year of Registration: 1897
Quarter of Registration: Oct-Nov-Dec
District: Lewisham
County: Greater London, Kent, London
Volume: 1d

Also on the same page is Maria Maddock.

Do you have the family in the 1901 and 1911 census? If so can you give the details?

The right family , they all used second names only except my father John which caused confusion to me , no mention of the other two children Thanks Ann

jax

jax Report 20 Oct 2010 13:31

They obviously died as infants and would not be on any census. They could also have been still born and not registered

jax

jax Report 20 Oct 2010 13:41

I know that but people dont always read or understand the question it was just a thought

AnnfromKent Report 20 Oct 2010 14:40

Will have to check Death Cert that the right child , but is there anyway I can find the other brother or sister assuming not stillborn , if not, thanks for all your input Ann

jax

jax Report 20 Oct 2010 15:05

I take it you have looked at freebmd? There are a number of deaths for children in the name of Brooker in West ham where some of the children were born, so it is not easy without buying all the certs. It would narrow it down if they had been baptised

jax

This could be one but only guessing from the name of the mother
